A solid foundation allows your memory foam mattress to give you maximum support. Box springs made for traditional mattress give under the weight of your body. Solid foundations offer a no-give surface for your mattress to rest on. Foundations are NOT needed by people placing their memory foam mattress on a platform bed, or other bed with a slat bottom. Beds with slats already have a perfectly solid foundation(provided the slats are no more than 6" apart). Our solid foundations are made in pieces that fit together in just a couple minutes with minimum effort. This allows us to offer solid foundations to our customer for a very low price, and also makes it convenient when moving your foundation.
